The Three Kingdoms' Heroes in Azeroth

The rolling waters of the Yangtze once washed away the heroes of the Three Kingdoms. When the smoke of the Eastern Han dynasty's civil wars finally cleared, conquerors and the conquered alike returned to dust. Yet the souls of these heroes refused to fade—Liu Bei, the imperial uncle of Han; Cao Cao, the cunning warlord; Sun Jian, the fierce tiger of Jiangdong; Lu Bu, the peerless flying general; Guan Yu, the lord of the flowing beard; Sun Ce, the little conqueror—countless legendary figures who fell in that chaotic age were chosen by the nascent soul of Azeroth from the void between worlds. In another realm, a young Azeroth already faces the apocalyptic shadow of the Burning Legion and the Void Lords. The stars fall, and the heroes descend upon an alien world. Liu Bei is reborn among the Vrykul—a body like a mountain, strength that can shatter stone, yet he finds himself among the northern barbarians who honor might alone and scorn benevolence.
