Gakusha to Kariudo

In an age long past, God vanquished the Devil in a decisive battle and entrusted the world to humankind. Yet the fallen one refused to accept defeat, unleashing hordes of demonic beasts upon the earth in a relentless campaign to reclaim the territory that legend remembers as the "Devil's Land." Now, within the imperial dominion of Lutrand—the very heart of that cursed legend—a colossal demonic beast known as the Land Whale, Bakhmat, has emerged without warning. Humanity, still scarred by a catastrophe that struck more than a decade ago, has been locked in a desperate struggle for survival against these monstrous creatures ever since. This dark fantasy saga follows a scholar and a hunter as they journey together across a land overrun by demonic beasts. One wields knowledge, the other steel, and together they confront a question that shadows every step of their travels: can humankind and these creatures ever find a path to coexistence, or is endless conflict the only future this broken world will allow?
