Stargazing Dog

One ordinary day, a young girl comes across a puppy abandoned in a cardboard box and brings the little stray home, where he is welcomed into the household as a beloved pet. From that moment on, the dog becomes part of the family, growing up alongside the daughter who rescued him. As the years quietly pass, however, the family begins to unravel. While his wife and daughter drift steadily away from him, the father finds himself forming an increasingly deep and devoted bond with the dog. In the animal's simple, unwavering loyalty, he discovers the companionship that is slipping through his fingers at home—a steadfast friend who remains by his side even as the walls of his domestic life close in. When the marriage finally breaks down beyond repair and divorce becomes inevitable, the father makes a fateful choice. Packing a few cardboard boxes and his faithful dog into his car, he leaves his old life behind and sets off on an open-ended journey southward, driven by one last, simple longing: to see the sea.
