Osaka Madam, Koukyuu-hi ni Naru!

Renka is a merchant's daughter who carries the memories of a former life. Once an ordinary woman raised in Osaka, she now finds herself reborn in a world strikingly reminiscent of ancient China. When her father compels her to enter the imperial harem, she is thrown into rigorous bridal training alongside a host of rival concubine candidates. Life behind palace walls proves anything but kind to her. Mishaps dog her every step—her carefully composed demeanor slips whenever her Osaka dialect breaks through, and the ambitious, social-climbing women around her regard her with open contempt. Yet Renka refuses to be defeated. Guided by the unshakable spirit of a merchant, she quietly vows to survive the harem not through her standing as a concubine, but through the power of commerce. Then, one day, a lone visitor arrives at her chambers. Only one man could ever be permitted to enter—the emperor himself. He comes bearing a single directive: that she join forces with him to stop the empress dowager from seizing political power.
