Back in the Village, I Was Adopted by a Giant Panda!

After returning to his rural hometown, Su Ze leased dozens of acres of land to cultivate crops. However, his plans were disrupted when a business partner abruptly abandoned their agreement, leaving Su Ze with a surplus of vegetables and no clear way to manage them. Just as he faced this dilemma, an unexpected visitor arrived: a female giant panda accompanied by her two cubs broke into his home. To his surprise, one of the cubs developed a particular fondness for Chinese cabbage. The sudden appearance of these endangered animals shocked local authorities, as giant pandas had never been recorded in the region. Experts quickly arrived, intending to relocate the family, but the pandas stubbornly refused to leave Su Ze’s side, effectively claiming him as their caretaker. Faced with the animals’ insistence and the unique opportunity to study their behavior in this new environment, local leaders authorized Su Ze to temporarily care for the panda family, promising state support for any subsequent issues. With little choice but to accept, Su Ze found his home permanently occupied by the trio. Yet, their stay was far from burdensome. The pandas proved to be generous housemates, frequently venturing into the mountains to bring back rare treasures such as wild lingzhi mushrooms and various game animals, subtly repaying Su Ze for their room and board.
