Kanojo Gacha

Inside a solitary chamber of a sprawling mansion stands a towering gacha machine, its glass dome filled with countless capsules—each one housing a living, breathing woman. For the price of fifty thousand yen per spin, anyone can pull the lever and receive more than just a prize; they receive a person whose heart is already predisposed to hold them in genuine affection. Yet this manufactured devotion is only the beginning. While the machine guarantees the seed of emotional attachment, it offers no blueprint for what comes next. The precise nature of that bond—whether it matures into tender love, fades into quiet friendship, or curdles into something far more complicated—is a question that only the one who turns the crank can answer. For the desperate, the lonely, or the simply curious, the allure is intoxicatingly simple: skip the endless uncertainty of courtship and claim a partner preloaded with feeling. But that convenience masks a haunting ambiguity. Does the affection born from a plastic sphere carry the same weight as feelings forged through time and struggle? And when the initial glow of guaranteed fondness fades, what foundation remains to hold two people together? The mansion’s gacha offers no guidance, no rules beyond the transaction itself. It presents a twisted gamble where the prize is human connection, yet the cost extends far beyond money—it demands the courage to define a relationship that began as a roll of the dice, forcing the recipient to confront whether they are truly ready for the person they have won.
