An Uncomfortable Truth

Yoseob has always been quiet, measured, and composed—a boy who never draws attention to himself. Yet he now sits inside a police station, accused of an unthinkable crime: plunging a knife into eight innocent civilians. The brutality of the act has left everyone around him shaken, struggling to reconcile the gentle student they thought they knew with the suspect before them. Doubt hangs heavy in the air. Yoseob is only a high schooler—ordinary, unremarkable, and seemingly without any grudge or reason to hurt a soul. What conceivable motive could drive someone like him to carry out such a horrifying act? As the question of his guilt lingers unanswered, a single thread begins to unravel toward the truth. That thread leads to Jaeha, Yoseob's older brother, and to a bond that runs far deeper—and far darker—than ordinary family affection. Yoseob's devotion to Jaeha borders on obsession, and it may hold the key to everything. Behind this case lies a truth no one is prepared to face.
