Josee, the Tiger and the Fish

College student Tsuneo is driven by a deep love for the ocean and its inhabitants, harboring dreams of studying marine life in distant waters. His only obstacle is financial, so when Josee, a young woman who uses a wheelchair, unexpectedly enters his life, he accepts a part-time position as her caretaker to fund his ambitions. Bridging the gap with the sharp-tongued and guarded Josee proves challenging, but an impulsive trip to the seaside reveals that taking the first leap of faith is often necessary to discover the wonders ahead. Based on Seiko Tanabe’s acclaimed story and adapted from the hit animated film, this edition features beautiful illustrations by Nao Emoto, collected here in a single omnibus volume.
