Yoo Hajin tutors to make ends meet, and her most prominent student is Im Ildo—a wealthy, seemingly desperate repeater buried in exam prep materials. She sees him as just another privileged kid chasing a university dream, and she dutifully guides him through his studies, never suspecting anything amiss. That fragile understanding shatters when her younger sister drops a casual bombshell: Ildo is actually her senior at National University. The struggling retaker Hajin thought she was teaching has already secured admission to one of the country’s most prestigious schools. From that moment, the mask slips completely. Ildo’s polite exterior gives way to a chillingly calculated predator, and Hajin realizes his tutoring sessions were never about academics. Every lesson, every carefully timed question, every seemingly innocent interaction was part of a meticulous design to draw her into his orbit. Now that his true identity is exposed, his obsession turns brazen and suffocating—a slow, tightening noose of manipulation and control that invades every corner of her daily life. As his schemes grow bolder and his grip more relentless, Hajin finds herself trapped in a psychological maze with no clear exit, forced to confront the horrifying truth: the student she pitied has been hunting her all along.
