Oh Seung-Pyo has spent his entire academic life at the top of his class, and being the best has always come as naturally as breathing. That changes the moment he enters high school, where a student named Ryu Jae-Min snatches the number one rank right out from under him. Seung-Pyo throws himself into his studies with everything he has, yet no amount of effort seems enough to dethrone the newcomer—every exam leaves him firmly rooted in second place. For the first time in his life, Seung-Pyo experiences the sting of inferiority, a feeling so foreign that it quietly begins to consume him without his even noticing. Before long, his attention drifts from his own performance to Jae-Min himself, and he finds himself watching his rival from a distance, unable to look away. Then, on one rain-soaked day, a simple mishap causes the two boys to accidentally take each other's phones. What should have been an insignificant accident turns Seung-Pyo's world upside down: what he discovers on Jae-Min's phone leaves him utterly stunned, and that single moment entangles the two of them in a relationship far more complicated than either ever expected.
