Once a prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, Lelouch Lamperouge has traded his dreams of revolution for the quiet, mundane life of an Ashford Academy student. But when the school’s upcoming cultural festival threatens to be a disaster, Lelouch finds himself conscripted into an unlikely and mortifying role—as a guitarist in the student band. There is only one problem: the former master of strategy has never so much as held a musical instrument, and his unnatural, inverted playing technique is less a style and more a cry for help. Determined to shield his beloved sister Nunnally from any disappointment, Lelouch throws himself into a grueling crash course in musicianship. What follows is a comedic battle of wills as he clashes with rebellious strings, bruised fingertips, and the sheer indignity of being a beginner. With each broken string and off-key chord, his pride shatters a little more, yet his resolve only tightens. Can the man who once toppled an empire survive the true crucible of high school talent shows, or will the stage claim a victory that even the might of Britannia could never achieve?
