At Midsummer High, Yeonsu Guk sits proudly at the top of the class rankings, while Wung Choi is firmly anchored to the very bottom. Grades aside, the two could hardly be more different: Yeonsu is a disciplined perfectionist who takes every rule seriously, whereas Wung drifts through school with a breezy indifference to studying. In every way that counts, they seem to inhabit entirely separate worlds. Then a documentary filmmaker arrives on campus, planning to spend an entire month capturing student life on camera—and the mismatched pair suddenly finds themselves thrown into each other's company. For two people whose temperaments clash at every turn, the constant filming sessions are anything but a welcome prospect, and each day together tests the limits of their patience in ways neither anticipated. Yet as the weeks unfold beneath the summer sun, the lens begins to reveal more than either of them expected. Beneath Yeonsu's strict composure and Wung's carefree exterior lie hidden depths the other never imagined.
