Haneji Kaoru has built a quiet, uneventful life as a college student, carefully keeping his past where it belongs—behind him. That fragile peace shatters the day popular actor Aragaki Jin walks through the doors of his workplace, an unexpected reunion that dredges up everything Kaoru has fought so hard to bury. Years earlier, the two were close friends in high school, where Kaoru's affection for the charismatic Jin slowly deepened into something far beyond friendship. Unable to cope with feelings that grew only stronger for a man known for his string of flings, Kaoru made the painful decision to sever all ties the moment they graduated, hoping distance would silence his heart. Now that Jin has tracked him down, however, walking away is no longer an option. The actor has no intention of letting Kaoru slip through his fingers a second time, and the walls Kaoru so carefully constructed begin to crumble. Caught between old wounds and a longing he never truly extinguished, Kaoru must finally confront the man—and the feelings—he tried so desperately to leave behind.
