Howling Blaze: Souen no Kenshi to Fushi no Majo

Thirty-two years ago, the world was changed forever when demons came pouring out of Elysion, an otherworldly realm that shattered the peace of human civilization. In the troubled era that followed, Kaoru Tsukimiya makes her living as a witch hunter, dedicating herself to hunting down the demonic threats that stalk the land. Her search leads her to Karyujima, an island steeped in curses, where she arrives driven by a single burning purpose: revenge. Yet waiting for her there is the last encounter she could have imagined—Fiona, the immortal witch, the natural enemy of everything Kaoru stands for. A demon-hunting swordswoman and a witch who cannot die: by every measure, the two are utterly incompatible, a pairing so hopeless it should never be able to function. And yet, thrown together, they find themselves confronting one bizarre supernatural incident after another. Their bitter rivalry crackles through every exchange, even as circumstance forces them to fight side by side against forces neither could face alone. The result is an action-packed tale of magic and the dance of blades, carried by two souls destined never to truly see eye to eye. Features original character designs by Asagi Tosaka.
