Official Details
Guts, a mercenary of immense strength, drifts through life with little sense of purpose, moving from one skirmish to the next without pause. His directionless existence is upended when he crosses paths with Griffith—a charismatic and strikingly beautiful young man who not only defeats him in combat but also commands the mercenary group known as the Band of the Hawk. Once Guts joins their ranks, a complex bond begins to form between the two warriors. Yet not everyone is welcoming; Casca, the Band's formidable lone swordswoman, finds herself struggling to come to terms with Guts's presence and the undeniable impact he has on those around her. As Guts and Griffith fight side by side, Griffith continues his unrelenting climb toward power, driven by ambitions that seem tied to an elusive, foretold destiny. How far will each man go in pursuit of that vision, and what course will fate ultimately chart for them?
