An Officer and a Princess

The Kingdom of Edenbourg is thrown into turmoil when its beloved king mysteriously vanishes without a trace. With the royal court in chaos and answers nowhere to be found, Princess Isabel refuses to sit idly by while her father remains in the hands of his abductors. Determined to take matters into her own hands, she resolves to personally uncover the truth—and she plans to begin her search at a local pub, the kind of place where whispered rumors might reveal a vital clue. To infiltrate the establishment without drawing suspicion, Isabel devises a cover story: she and Lieutenant Adam will pose as an ordinary married couple. Adam is alarmed by the scheme and tries desperately to talk her out of it, insisting that the mission is far too dangerous for a princess. But Isabel stands firm, calmly assuring him that she will count on his protection the moment trouble finds them. Realizing he cannot change her mind, Adam has no choice but to steel himself and prepare thoroughly for the undercover operation. Yet nothing could ready him for the shock awaiting him on the day of the investigation—when Isabel arrives at the pub dressed in a dazzlingly bold outfit, looking less like a noblewoman in disguise and more like a scandalous woman of ill repute!
