Isekai Arigatou

The unexpected catalyst for their journey was a simple, desperate question posed at a high school reunion: "Listen, am I cute?" Chiba and Shiina, two thirty-year-old single otaku who had drifted through life together since their school days, found themselves bonding once more over their shared status. But their rekindled camaraderie is cut brutally short when a series of inexplicable misfortunes strikes. One disaster after another piles up, leaving them no time to process their sudden, shared downfall before their world goes black. When consciousness returns, it is not to the familiar halls of their old school or their cramped apartments, but to a world of fantasy and magic. To their utter shock, they have not simply died; they have been reincarnated. Worse, they haven't returned as the men they were, but as breathtakingly beautiful young women in a land far from Earth. Now trapped in an uncanny predicament, these former otaku must navigate a new existence, grappling with their altered bodies, the chaotic new world around them, and the lingering question of whether their reincarnation was a blessing or a truly bizarre form of punishment.
