Monochrome Limit

As the striking frontman of Joker Trick, one of the most popular bands on the scene, Rui has everything fame can offer—except the ability to love. His devotion to music burns hotter than anything else in his life, so fierce and all-consuming that it seems to have crowded out every other feeling. The women who pass through his orbit come and go, and not one has ever left a mark on his heart. His bandmates have watched this pattern with growing exasperation, convinced that Rui simply doesn't understand romance at all. At last, one of them takes matters into his own hands and presents him with a startling solution: a piece of prohibited technology in the form of an android—a machine built to learn, adapt, and become the perfect lover. Rui wants nothing to do with it, yet he cannot quite bring himself to refuse. Reluctant fascination takes hold, and the experiment begins. As the android studies him, learns from him, and draws nearer than anyone ever has, one question hangs in the air: can a machine teach a man who has never loved what it truly means to love someone?
