Supsogui Dam

At some undefined point in his life, Dam simply ceased to grow. Whether this stagnation is physical, emotional, or something far more profound remains unspoken, but the effect on his existence is undeniable. Trapped in a perpetual state of suspended youth while the world around him relentlessly moves forward, he finds himself increasingly alienated from the very people who should have been his community. Their curious glances, their whispered questions, and their pity become an unbearable weight, transforming his everyday life into a gauntlet of silent judgment. Rather than endure the constant reminder of his stasis, Dam makes the decisive choice to sever all ties and retreat into the untamed wilderness. The forest offers him what society never could: a sanctuary of silence where his condition ceases to be a spectacle. Among the ancient trees and shifting shadows, he constructs a solitary existence, trading human contact for the raw, indifferent rhythms of nature. Yet isolation is a double-edged blade; the very peace he seeks also forces him to confront the void left behind by his abandonment of humanity. As days bleed into weeks, Dam must navigate not only the physical hardships of the wild but also the haunting question of what it truly means to stop growing—and whether a life lived entirely apart is a liberation or a quiet surrender. His journey into the woods is far more than a simple escape; it is a desperate bid to redefine himself in a world that refused to let him change.
