Ore wa Subete o [Parry] Suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha no Yume o Miru

Since childhood, Noor has dreamed of becoming an adventurer like the heroes in his father’s tales—dragon slayers, curse breakers, champions who arrive just in time to save the day. There is only one problem: adventurers need useful skills, and Noor’s is utterly worthless. With no prospects and everyone around him urging him to give up, he decides that sheer effort will have to close the gap. He commits to a grueling, solitary training regimen, extending it from one year to five, then to ten, refusing to abandon his goal. Now nearing the end of his twenties, Noor has no new abilities to show for his years of discipline. Even so, he sets out to become an adventurer at last, resolved to chase his dream one final time. He may know almost nothing about the adventurer’s life, but hard work is something he understands intimately. What he cannot understand is why people keep staring at him with such strange looks.
