Summary
Official Details
Reborn as a vampire, Mercedes Grunewald seems to have won life’s grand prize: strength, speed, beauty, and noble status. Yet her noble standing is precarious. Her mother is only a concubine, and her father has no interest in the family he has relegated to the countryside. When he eventually names an heir, Mercedes knows her sheltered life will vanish. Rather than wait for that fate, the ten-year-old resolves to carve her own path. She begins exploring dungeons, seeking something beyond the comforts she stands to lose. What she will discover in those depths remains uncertain, but she is determined not to repeat the unfulfilled death of her previous life. Whether she finds fame, fortune, or simply a reason to live, Mercedes is resolved to change her destiny. This time, her moon will be full.
