The TV animation "After Death", which premiered on January 5, 2008, unfolded an unprecedented scroll of "death" for the audience. The protagonist is Wenjia, who mails letters (posthumous writings) to people who have died in the real world, and her partner, Kanaka, a talking hand. It is a lyrical and beautiful story.
