The Bottom-Tier Baron's Accidental Rise to the Top

Welcome to the Barony of Babalon—a land of rugged warriors, strange faiths, and even stranger loyalties. When the ruling Baron and Baroness pass away, their son, Rize Babalon, inherits not only the title but also a territory long stripped of its former glory. However, before he can even settle into his new role, the common folk rise in revolt against their inexperienced young lord. Desperate to protect himself, Rize relies on his one true talent: appeasement. Rather than asserting the divine right of nobility through sheer magical force, he decides to use his power to win over the people with bribes and favors, hoping to secure a quiet, comfortable life. But his plans backfire spectacularly. His approval ratings soar, and the citizens begin to see him not as a ruler, but as a savior. All he wanted was a peaceful life by the sea, not a revolution at his doorstep. Starting with nothing but good intentions and empty pockets, the young baron soon finds himself swept up in events far beyond his control. And so begins the accidental rise of the Bottom-Tier Baron to the very top.
