Mangetsu Monogatari

Disgraced and cast out from the imperial court following a damaging scandal, Takaaki now spends his days in restless idleness at his rural manor. Stripped of purpose and rank, he passes the hours in a haze of impulsive whims and gnawing boredom, the quiet countryside offering little solace for a man accustomed to the intrigues of the capital.
