Akuyaku Reijou Koukyuu Monogatari

Diana, daughter of the notorious Count Cresta, never asked for a place at court—yet she is forced to enter the royal harem under the name "Lady Crimson Rose," installed as the leading candidate to become queen consort. But life behind the palace's gilded walls proves to be anything but the honor it appears to be. Blessed—or cursed—with a beauty rumored capable of ensnaring the hearts of men, Diana is nonetheless undone by her "villainous face." The King despises her, the palace concubines single her out as a rival in their cutthroat power struggles, and she finds herself misunderstood at every turn, no matter how pure her intentions may be. Beneath it all, Diana harbors one simple wish: to meet someone who sees her not for her fearsome appearance, but for the person she truly is. This is the chronicle of a "villainous-looking" young lady's trials within the palace harem—and of how, against all odds, she discovers her own way to persevere... no matter what.
