Kono Yu de, Anata to

At thirty-two, Igarashi Tsubaki is worn down by the subtle pressures of everyday life. Well-meaning coworkers toss out casual remarks—wondering aloud whether she's leaving marriage too late, or gushing over how adorable children are—and each offhand comment leaves her feeling more drained than the last. Her one true escape is the local bathhouse, a quiet place where she can soak away her worries and simply be herself. That tranquil routine is thrown off balance one day when she crosses paths with Izumi, a radiant, free-spirited idol whose boundless energy lights up the entire bath. Bewildered by the star's overwhelming enthusiasm, Tsubaki keeps her guard up at first, uncertain what to make of someone so relentlessly vivacious. Yet bit by bit, Izumi's genuine warmth begins to reach her, and the walls Tsubaki has built around her heart slowly start to come down. From creators Nanbu Kumako and Haruki Yachika comes a tender, heartwarming story of two women finding connection—and love—in the most unexpected of places.
