Tsurizao Hitotsu de Isekai Hourou

Owari Machida was once a celebrated professional fisherman, his exploits earning him a measure of fame in the media. Yet that glory proved fleeting, and he now spends every day struggling simply to make ends meet. While out on a boat fishing trip, fate takes a cruel turn—a wave sweeps him overboard, and when his life jacket fails to deploy, he sinks beneath the surface, losing consciousness as the water swallows him whole. When Owari comes to, the scenery is nothing he recognizes. He has awakened in an entirely different world, far removed from the seas he once knew. Stranger still, this land holds little trace of the one pursuit that defined his life: here, the culture of fishing has long since fallen into decline. Armed with the fishing gear that crossed over into this world alongside him, Owari takes to wandering, casting his line wherever the waters lead and savoring the pastime he loves most. Along the way, he crosses paths with the people of this new land, and through each cast of his rod, he slowly begins to find his place in a world where fishing has all but been forgotten.
