Tonikaku Kawaii

Tonikaku Kawaii is a story brimming with love and dreams, centered on a boy whose very name carries a quiet mystery: though it is written with the Japanese characters for "Hoshizora," meaning "Starry Sky," it is pronounced "Nasa." This gentle oddity sets the tone for a tale in which everyday life collides with something almost magical. For Nasa, fate takes its turn on the day of his high school entrance examinations. Amid the tension of that pivotal morning, he crosses paths with a strikingly beautiful girl, and in a single moment, his ordinary world begins to shift. It feels as though destiny itself has finally chosen to call out to him, whispering the long-awaited promise that romance may at last be within his grasp — that he might, at long last, find a girlfriend of his own. And yet, destiny is seldom so straightforward. Whatever forces have conspired to place this girl in Nasa's path, he is about to learn that when fate finally stirs, it rarely arrives without complications of its own.
