Kemeko Deluxe!

Ten years ago, a young Sanpeita was visited by a vivid dream in which he was betrothed to a radiant, otherworldly beauty—a promise that faded into the haze of childhood memory. Now a high school student, he lives a life of quiet normalcy, until one morning that fragile peace is shattered. A plain, unremarkable girl appears at his doorstep and, with unsettling seriousness, insists that they are destined to be married. Her name is Kemeko, and she carries an aura of chaotic determination that Sanpeita cannot begin to comprehend. Desperate to escape her relentless pursuit, Sanpeita flees to the sanctuary of his school, only for Kemeko to follow and cause a spectacle that upends the entire campus. But the real terror begins when a bizarre, homicidal rice cooker descends upon the rooftop, targeting Sanpeita with lethal intent. As he and his childhood friend Izumi find themselves cornered by the mechanical menace, it is the eccentric Kemeko who intervenes, dispatching the threat with a ferocity that belies her humble appearance. In the aftermath of the attack, the question that lingers is far more troubling than the threat itself: Who is this strange girl, and what is the incredible truth hidden beneath her ordinary facade? As Sanpeita's past collides with an impossible present, he is thrust into a whirlwind of surreal danger and romantic confusion, where nothing—and no one—is quite as it seems.
