Samurai Lover

Aza Kaneatsu, a samurai from the Meiji era, finds himself on the run from the police. With nowhere left to turn, he leaps into a lake—only to remember too late that he cannot swim. As he drowns, fate intervenes, and he is hurled through time, waking up in the present day, one hundred and forty years into the future. There he meets Higaira Ikkei, a beautiful and sharp-tongued tsundere who is next in line to inherit his grandfather's temple. Aza's sudden, inexplicable arrival throws the household into chaos, prompting Ikkei's grandfather to declare that only true love can send the samurai back to his own era. Now, Aza finds himself on a comedic and desperate mission: to win Ikkei's heart. As the pair navigate this absurd arrangement, watch the line between forced affection and genuine feeling blur—and see if a fake love can ever become the real thing.
