Summary
Official Details
Yanai is a successful manga editor conducting research in Shinjuku on the lives of young people who frequent Kabukicho when a girl abruptly grabs him by the shirt. Misumi lives in a manga café, earns meager money cleaning a love hotel, and spends every spare moment devouring manga—but now she has started writing her own stories and wants Yanai to take a look. He is dismissive at first, yet once he finally reads her work, he recognizes her raw, unpolished talent. He offers to become her editor, but gets far more than he anticipated when this nearly feral girl suddenly moves into his apartment. Her desperation and single-minded obsession clash completely with the professional world he knows, shaking him from his routine and forcing him to see manga in an entirely new light.
