Shoutaifumei to Kyoufu

Kaname Ishidou's school life has never been easy. An accident left him with severe facial injuries, and from the moment he first enrolled, those wounds have made it difficult for him to fit in with his classmates, leaving him isolated in ways he never chose. His circumstances take an unexpected turn when Sugata, the school counselor, approaches him with an unusual request: she wants Kaname to help her reach a group of problematic girls in her care. With little enthusiasm and even less expectation, Kaname half-heartedly agrees and meets the four of them. But as the weeks drag on, the girls offer him nothing—not a word, not a reaction. When an entire month passes without any response, Kaname can't help but wonder what the point of it all was supposed to be. Then, without warning, everything changes.
