Don't Fall for Me, Okay?

When Azumi reluctantly drags herself to a mixer, romance is the furthest thing from her mind—until she meets Rui. A veterinarian blessed with the poise and magnetism of a fairytale prince, he seems like everything she has ever wanted. Their shared devotion to animals draws them close, and the evening culminates in an unexpected night of passion at a hotel. Yet when dawn breaks, her prince has vanished without a trace. To Rui, what they shared was nothing more than a fleeting one-night stand. Heartbroken but determined to reclaim her dignity, Azumi resolves to turn the page. She takes a position at a prestigious clinic, vowing to bury her heartache in her work and never look back. Fate, however, has a cruel sense of humor—her new colleague is Rui himself. Forced to work side by side, the two clash at every turn, and Rui makes his position unmistakably clear with a stern warning: "Don't fall for me." But as the friction between them builds, resentment slowly gives way to a smoldering attraction—one that neither of them may be able to extinguish.
