For twelve-year-old Lofus, the revelation that he inhabits the world of a popular RPG is less a wonder and more a cosmic insult. Such an unceremonious demise is utterly beneath a noble of his pedigree, and the young lord refuses to accept a narrative that writes him off so cheaply. Armed with precocious determination, he resolves to dismantle his own grim future piece by piece, tackling the systemic corruption that seeds his downfall and lightening the crushing tax burden on his people, all in a calculated bid to rewrite his epitaph. Yet Lofus soon discovers that defying destiny is a far more complicated affair than simple policy reform. As he personally leads the charge against the monstrous hordes ravaging his territory, a latent power stirs within him—an ability never recorded in the game's original lore, and one that defies all known logic. His pragmatic, self-serving efforts yield an unexpected side effect: the common folk, once indifferent, begin to sing his praises with genuine devotion. This adulation is an annoyance he tolerates rather than welcomes, for he insists his every action is purely born of self-preservation.
