I Never Meant to Create Gods

False gods—Groudon, the so-called Land God who cannot fly; Kyogre, the oversized fish slumbering in the deep sea; and Rayquaza, the Sky God dozing in the upper atmosphere. These are the hollow legends the world once believed in. But years later, when Chino Togou ascends to the throne of the Masters Championship, he is no ordinary champion. He is hailed as the God Trainer, and his Pokémon are recognized as the one and only true deities. Summon forth his Tamashi—Obelisk the Tormentor, manifested as the indomitable Wobbuffet. This unshakeable being stands firm upon the earth, the new God of Land who shall never fall. And then there is Ra's Winged Dragon—?? And Osiris the Sky Dragon—?? The answers await in a tale where a trainer's unintended ambition reshapes the very definition of divinity.
