Kamichu!

Yurie Hitotsubashi, an average middle school student living in Onomichi, Japan, finds her life transformed when she suddenly declares to her friend Mitsue that she has become a goddess. This unexpected turn of events occurs during a typical lunch break, amidst her concerns about exams and her crush on the oblivious Kenji. As news of Yurie's newfound divinity spreads, her classmate Matsuri sees an opportunity to promote her family's struggling Shinto shrine by replacing the ineffective local god, Yashima-sama, with Yurie. With the hope of increasing the shrine's popularity, Matsuri encourages Yurie to embrace her role, leaving Yurie to navigate and understand the extent of her powers and responsibilities as a goddess.
