Gachiakuta

Suspended high in the sky is a town divided by wealth, where the privileged live in sumptuous comfort while the poor scrape by at its fringes. For those at the top, dealing with waste requires no second thought—whatever they no longer want is simply tossed over the edge and sent plunging into the abyss below. For one boy struggling to survive in this unforgiving world, catastrophe strikes when he is falsely accused of murder. Despite his innocence, the verdict stands, and he faces a punishment beyond imagining: cast off the town's edge, exiled to fall alongside the very trash the rich so carelessly discard. Yet the world below holds horrors of its own. The cast-off waste of humanity has bred vicious monsters, transforming the surface into a treacherous wasteland. To endure this hellscape—and to walk the road of vengeance against those who condemned him to it—the boy must harden himself and become a warrior.
