Shoujou-hime

For untold years, a girl has remained locked away behind a mysterious seal, cut off from the world and bound in silent isolation. Her fate takes an unexpected turn when a strikingly handsome monk, wandering along the road on an ordinary day, stumbles upon her resting place and breaks the seal that holds her captive. With that single, chance encounter, a long-dormant legend springs back to life. Drawing from the timeless tale of "Journey to the West," this series reimagines a beloved classic through a bold new lens—the very story that has inspired generations of celebrated manga is reborn here in an entirely fresh form. What follows is a whirlwind of high-octane battle action, with the newly freed girl and the monk who liberated her swept into conflict at every turn. But danger is only half the story. Woven throughout the fighting is a playful romance brimming with comedic chemistry, delivering a "love" comedy unlike any other. From creator ippatu comes this spirited retelling, where myth, action, and laughter collide in unforgettable fashion.
