Yokoshima na Eguchi-kun

Hajime Eguchi is only ten years old, yet he already carries a reputation unlike that of any ordinary elementary schooler. Born in the earliest stretch of the year, between January and April, he counts among the older pupils in his grade — but it is not his age that gets people talking. Those around him have come to know the boy by a most curious nickname: "a little prince of Eros." The title says everything about Eguchi's peculiar charm. Behind an unassuming, childlike exterior lies a mischievous streak and a surprisingly worldly, impish fascination with all things romantic and grown-up. Where other kids his age concern themselves with games and homework, young Eguchi's mind seems to drift toward far more wicked territory, and the people in his orbit can never quite predict what he will say or do next. It is this gap — an innocent-looking schoolboy with the roguish spirit of a self-styled "prince of Eros" — that forms the comedic heart of the series, promising a steady parade of awkward, laugh-out-loud moments whenever Eguchi's mischievous little reign collides with everyday life.
