Spontaneous World Shifting

What do you do when home refuses to hold you? This is the question at the heart of one young girl's story, whose ordinary life is upended by an extraordinary affliction: without warning and without reason, she begins to shift between worlds. One moment she stands in surroundings she knows; the next, she finds herself cast into somewhere entirely unfamiliar, with no say in when or where the next displacement will strike. What makes her ordeal truly harrowing is that neither the cause of these shifts nor the means of ending them is understood. Somewhere within that mystery may lie the answer she desperately seeks—the way to stop the shifting for good and return to the life she was torn from. Until it is uncovered, she remains entirely at the mercy of forces beyond her control. In the meantime, survival demands everything she has. Alone, with no one to lean on, simply staying alive in each unfamiliar world proves to be a formidable challenge in itself. Hers is a story of endurance in the face of relentless uncertainty, carried forward by the quiet hope of one day finding her way home.
