Kirei ni Shite yo

What Hara Dai hates more than anything else is people. In his eyes, every single person is a nuisance—someone to be endured rather than known, a burden simply by existing near him. His misanthropy did not appear out of nowhere. Middle school subjected Dai to relentless bullying and ceaseless harassment, and the scars of those years followed him straight into high school. Determined never to be a victim again, he chose a drastic transformation: he made his debut as a delinquent, trading his ordinary self for an intimidating new persona in hopes that fear would finally keep everyone at arm's length. Yet even Dai's armor of hostility has one unexpected gap. Whether plain or flashy, there is exactly one person who never registers as bothersome to him—the school janitor. Surrounded by a world of people he cannot stand, Dai may have stumbled upon the single human being who doesn't exhaust him.
