The second installment of the Hidamari Sketch TV series, based on the original work by Ume Aoki. Yuno enrolled in the art department of Yamabuki High School, a private school of her dreams. Yuno leaves her parents and begins living alone in a small apartment called Hidamari-so in front of the school, where she meets her classmate Miyako and her seniors Sae and Hiro. Every day at Hidamari-so, which is famous for attracting eccentric people from the art department, is filled with exciting events. However, although Yuno is confused by the unfamiliar life, she is now slowly starting to move towards her dream, surrounded by kind and warm friends.
