BAROQUE: Ketsuraku no Paradigm

The world as it once existed is no more—reduced to a twisted, nightmarish landscape by the catastrophic actions of a single individual. Or so Dextera has been led to believe. Haunted by this sanctioned truth and burdened by a sin he does not fully comprehend, he navigates a realm overrun by grotesque aberrations—creatures born from the world's corruption that stalk every ruined corner of civilization. Amid this desolation, the Archangel of the Church of Melct issues him a singular, perilous decree: ascend the ominous Neuro Tower and purify the mad god that resides at its peak. Only by completing this holy execution can Dextera hope to earn the absolution he has been promised. Yet doubt festers beneath his obedient resolve. The gap between the Church's doctrine and the reality he witnesses grows increasingly difficult to ignore, and the true nature of his mission remains shrouded in as much darkness as the monsters he is sent to slay. The Neuro Tower looms not merely as a physical bastion of divine corruption, but as a crucible that will force Dextera to confront the fragile line between salvation and annihilation. As he ventures deeper into its accursed heights, the question that drives him becomes as lethal as any beast: is he the chosen instrument of redemption, or merely the final piece of a grand, broken paradigm?
