Soukoku no Garou: Hokuto no Ken Rei Gaiden

Rei was not always a specter of death. Once, he possessed something resembling warmth—an ember that dimmed with every step on a path consumed by vengeance. Now, he wanders a desolate world, a lone wolf with bloodstained claws, his humanity stripped away by the singular obsession that drives him: the hunt for a certain someone. That quarry is the anchor of his existence, the only face that haunts his waking hours, and the sole key to reclaiming the soul he has all but forgotten. But Rei’s journey is no aimless drift. He stalks the wastelands with a predator’s grace, his fury sharpened to a razor’s edge, and any who cross his path become prey. He does not seek conflict—it finds him, drawn by his fearsome reputation and the silent, smoldering menace he radiates. With every adversary he cuts down, he inches closer to his goal, yet the violence only deepens the chasm between who he was and who he has become. Until his vengeance is sated, Rei cannot rest, cannot heal, cannot be whole. He is condemned to roam as a feral beast, driven by an unquenchable fire, knowing that only when his enemy falls will the wolf within him finally be laid to rest.
