2005 Chinese Entertainment: The Chat Group Is Full of Real Stars

In 2005, Jiang Bei transmigrates into a parallel entertainment world and is pulled by Liu Yifei into a bizarre chat group. Convinced that every celebrity in the group is a fraud, he treats them like delusional fakes. Meanwhile, the celebrities are equally convinced that Jiang Bei is a clumsy "fake transmigrator" making wild guesses about their futures. This mutual misunderstanding sparks a chain of hilarious, chaotic events. Liu Yifei wants to break into the Japanese music scene? Jiang Bei hands her "Hannah Montana" plus ten bilingual hit songs—no strings attached. When Tangren spreads rumors against her? He advises: "Crush them with works until they go broke." Yang Mi asks if she'll ever become famous—Jiang Bei replies, "Only if you follow my tempo." Zhu Yawen envies Huang Bo's Best Actor win—Jiang Bei tells him to shoot "Love Is Not Blind" and he'll get there too. Huang Xiaoming worries about Ren Quan playing the capital game—Jiang Bei shrugs: "We've been in the game all along." Years later, at the hundred-day feast for Jiang Bei's fifth child, Chen Kun gets drunk and slams the table: "When it comes to luck with women, I bow to no one but you—five kids, seven mothers, and somehow you all get along like one big family." Jiang Bei just smiles. "I'm just good at making choices."
