As a member of the Hokage, one dares not be a loyal subject of Konoha

In the uneasy stillness that followed the Nine-Tails' rampage, Konoha struggles to mend wounds that run far deeper than its shattered streets. Yet no sooner has the dust begun to settle than word arrives: a delegation from Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud, will soon be upon them—and every whisper of its coming carries a silent, ominous weight. Hijiro Hyuga, head of the Hyuga clan, sighs beneath that gathering storm. He turns to gaze upon Konoha, the village his bloodline has served for generations, and then looks to the Third Hokage—the most powerful shinobi the village has ever known—only to watch the old man quietly indicate the road he expects the Hyuga to walk. It is a path that demands he betray everything his ancestors held sacred, forcing Hijiro to weigh his loyalty to the village against his loyalty to his own name. Beneath the cold light of the moon, the patriarch finally finds his answer. With a slow sweep of his hand, he issues a declaration that will echo through the Hidden Leaf: "From this day forward, the Hyuga clan shall stand in the heavens!"
