Takkoku!!!

Tamano Kako and Marunouchi Gaku were once inseparable, but their friendship was put to the test when Gaku had to leave with his father to travel the world. Before departing, Gaku made a promise to Kako: he would return in 10 years, and they would start a romantic relationship. However, their reunion is complicated by the newly introduced law of Takkoku, which dictates that anyone confessing their love must first defeat the object of their affection in a game of ping pong. If physical contact occurs before the game, the confessor will face punishment, and winning the game guarantees a romantic partnership, regardless of the other person's feelings. As Kako is renowned as Japan's top ping pong player, and Gaku has no experience with the sport, their love seems unlikely to flourish. Despite the odds, Gaku is determined to be the one to confess his feelings and win Kako's heart, but can he overcome his lack of skill and beat the formidable Kako at ping pong?
