Miyabichi no Onmyouji

In an age when the boundary dividing the mortal world from the supernatural has worn dangerously thin, disaster befalls the human imperial capital: demons descend upon the city and carry off ten artifacts of immense power—the Sacred Treasures themselves. Their loss sends shockwaves through the empire, for these hallowed relics have long stood as pillars of mankind's protection against the spirit realm, and as long as they remain in demonic hands, the realm's fate hangs in the balance. In response, the emperor issues a stern decree to the onmyoji, masters of the mystic arts sworn to serve and defend the empire. Their mission admits no failure: the stolen Treasures must be recovered, whatever the cost. Among those who answer the call is Fuzuki, a brilliant renegade whose extraordinary talent is matched only by his unorthodox, defiant ways. Setting out on the first leg of this perilous undertaking, Fuzuki begins his search for the initial Treasure—a journey that leads him through a land where the borders between human and demon grow ever more indistinct. Every step brings him closer to an artifact coveted by malevolent forces, and deeper into a struggle that will demand all of his cunning, courage, and craft.
