Love…with Him?

Still reeling from the sting of a two-year relationship that refused to let go, Miku finds herself adrift in a haze of heartbreak and reckless impulse. On a whim, she throws caution to the wind and propositions a devastatingly handsome stranger named Hikaru. To her surprise, he accepts without hesitation, and the two tumble into the anonymity of a nearby hotel. Yet, as the reality of the moment crashes over her, panic seizes Miku, and she flees just before the encounter can reach its point of no return—leaving her more confused and unsettled than before. Fate, however, has a cruelly ironic sense of timing. Mere days later, Miku stumbles upon Hikaru once again, this time behind the counter of a quiet café bar where he works. Though she braces for awkwardness or anger, he greets her with an unsettling composure that reveals nothing of his thoughts. His unreadable gaze and cryptic smiles hint at depths she cannot fathom, pulling her into a gravitational pull she isn’t sure she can resist. Every exchange leaves her feeling as though she is navigating a labyrinth of unspoken intentions, where the line between danger and desire blurs with each passing moment. Is she merely projecting her own vulnerabilities onto this enigmatic man, or is he deliberately weaving a web of emotional complexity around her? As Miku finds herself drawn back to the café time and again, she must confront the terrifying possibility that her impulsive mistake may have unlocked something far more consuming than a simple rebound—and the answer lies buried in the very mystery that both frightens and fascinates her.
