Yoidore Koi wo Sezu

At thirty-two, Suwa Misumi holds the credentials of a sake master, yet his career has just collapsed around him. Blessed—or perhaps cursed—with a warm, agreeable nature, he has never been able to turn down a request, and his habit of getting a little too friendly with everyone eventually stirred up enough trouble to cost him his job. Suddenly unemployed and at the lowest point of his life, Misumi finds himself scrambling for direction. Just as despair begins to set in, an opportunity appears: a restaurant he wants to work at more than anywhere else, a place that promises the fresh start he so badly needs. There is only one complication. The establishment's owner is none other than the stranger from his most recent drunken one-night stand. Now Misumi must pursue the position of his dreams while confronting the awkward fallout of that impulsive night. For a man whose kindness makes it impossible to refuse anyone, the real challenge lies in facing his prospective employer without letting business collide with the lingering heat of a mistake made under the influence.
